Private equity fund manager Calculus Capital has won the EIS Association’s Fund Manager of the Year Award for the third time.

The Award was presented to John Glencross at the House of Lords in London on 12 February 2015 by EISA Chairman, The Lord Flight, and Director General, Sarah Wadham.

The Fund Manager of the Year Award recognises the firm that has excelled across a number of different criteria including investment track record, clarity and effectiveness of communications, industry participation and adherence to the spirit of EIS investing.

Sarah Wadham, Director General of the EIS Association, said: “The winner’s award goes to a company that has had an excellent year for exits. The judges particularly highlighted their analysis of the jobs created, the tax revenues raised, and the social benefits of the investments they made. It epitomises what EIS investing is all about. The winner is Calculus Capital.”

John Glencross, Calculus Capital CEO, said: “We are delighted to win this award which recognises, not only, our achievements but the value of EIS in supporting growing companies, empowering entrepreneurs and contributing to UK Plc.”
